Mrs. Helen Grady, 90, of Mahanoy City. passed away Thursday, February 24th, 2011 at Schuylkill Medical Center East Nowegian, Pottsville, PA..
Mrs. Grady was born in Mahanoy City, PA on April 19, 1920, the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Cech)Molnar and John Burns.
She was of the catholic faith.
Worked at one time at City Shirt
Enjoyed Sewing and Bowling
Attended local schools
She is survived by a daughter Joanne Lapps of Houston Tx and son Joseph Grady Jr of Sellersville, and sister Violet Stankiewitch of Mahanoy City.
She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by brothers John Moran, Joseph "Josie", Steve, Vince "Mitzy", and sister Mary Molnar.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City, PA, at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 1st, .with interment following in the Assumption BVM Cemetery Mahanoy City where a White Dove will be released in her memory.
Friends may call Monday 5 - 7PM. at the Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home Inc. Mahanoy City.
