Harry F. Kline, 73, of Wiggans Patch died Monday at Hazleton General Hospital.
Born in Jacksons Patch, March 25, 1940 he was the son of the late Nicholas Kline and Catherine "Gladys" (Hillabush) Kline.
He Retired as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at Reading Anthracite Coal Company, Pottsville where he worked for 43 years. He was also a photographer for the Evening Herald.
Harry Graduated in 1959 from Mahanoy Township High School where he played football for the Purple Larks.
He went to St. Canicus Church from a child up to its closing and then Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish.
Harry loved collecting mining memorabilia and had a lobby of making miners & coal cars for display during his spare time, before taking ill.
Surviving is his wife Carol A. Kline to whom he was married for 55 years in September. Son Nicholas Kline and his wife Cynthia of Wiggans, Daughter Christine Hanlon of Shenandoah, and twins Sandra Kline of Mahanoy City, and Stephanie Ponchery and her husband Richard of Beaver Meadows. Brother George and his wife Ruth of Mahanoy City, William and his wife Cynthia of Minersville, Sisters Carol Morrison and her husband Larry of Mahanoy City and there daughter Natalie, a step sisters Anna Skymba and her husband Sam of Philadelphia, and Mary Roberts of Pottstown. Grand children Kristopher Hanlon, Amanda Garber Lyon, David M. Garber, Kelsey Garber, Skyler Garber, Nikki Kline, Dylan and Destiny Ponchery, and Great Grandchild Kristopher Hanlon. Nieces and nephews, cousins and two very important people in his life, Jean Fitzgerald, Frackville and Francis Hillibush of Ringtown.
Preceding him in death were Sisters Louise Kline, Kathleen Kline, and step sister Elizabeth Kline and step brother Nicholas Kline,
Friends may call Friday May 31, 6 to 9 PM at the Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. Mahanoy City and again at 9am Saturday June 1. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish with Rev Kevin Gallagher Officiating. Interment will follow in Sky View Memorial Park.
