Gloria Rodriguez, 86, of Mahanoy City, passed away Saturday, December 22nd, at Weatherwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Home, Weatherly.

Gloria was born in Mahanoy City, PA on April 18, 1932, a daughter of the late Elizabeth (Margaret) (Klemavich) and George Balonis.

She graduated from Mahanoy City High School, class of 1950

She was a member of Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish Mahanoy City.

Gloria worked at the former Eagle Brothers & City Shirt Mahanoy City.

She was the wife of the late Joseph  Rodriguez.

Gloria is survived by a daughter, Maria, wife of Anthony Fazio, of Hazleton; And a son, Joseph, husband of Gail Roberts, of Port Charlotte FL;

Gloria is also survived by a sister, Eleanor, wife of Anthony Kazokas, of Philadelphia, a brother, Edward Balonis, Companion Mary Lou Ward, of Drums; and by Grandsons Anthony and Mark Fazio and David and Scott Roberts. Great Grandsons Dominic and Noah Fazio

She is preceded in death by a brother George, and sister Margaret who passed away at age 3.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City, PA, at 10 am on Saturday, December 29th, with Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher and Monsignor William Handges officiating.

Friends may call Saturday from 9 to 10 am at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish.

Interment will follow at Skyview Memorial Park Tamaqua, PA.
