Mr. Glen Boris, 35, of Frackville, passed away Tuesday, March 1st, 2011 at , Universty of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, .

Mr. Boris was born in Shenandoah, on August 28, 1975, the son of Leonard and Kathy (Oakes) Boris of Shenandoah.

Glen most recently worked at Electrolux, and had also worked for Lowes Distribution, Morgan knitting mills & Shenandoah Manor Nursing Home.

He was a member of the Columbia Hose company #1 Shenandoah where he was also a trustee, prior to that he belonged to the Polish American Fire company number 4 in Shenandoah, and the Tamaqua Street Machine Association.

He graduated in 1994 from Shenandoah High School.

He was the husband of Michelle (Thomas) Boris and has a daughter Vanessa.
He is survived by Sister Theresa of Shenandoah, and brothers Joseph of Shenandoah., Leonard of Shenandoah.

A viewing will be held Saturday March 5th at the Columbia Fire Company on West Center Street in Shenandoah from 9am to 12. Interment will follow in the German Protestant Cemetery Mahanoy City were a white dove will be released in his memory

Family prefers donations be made to the Glen Boris Memorial Fund and can be made at the fire house at the time of the viewing.
