Obituary

George Miller, 73, of Quakertown, PA, passed away Tuesday, February 7th, at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville.

George was born in Shenandoah, PA on November 22, 1943, a son of the late Anna (Dudash) and Edward Miller.

He was a member of Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish Mahanoy City.

George graduated from Mahanoy City High School Class of 1961, and Steven's Trade School in Lancaster.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

George worked at ALCOA in Cresson before entering the Pennsylvania State Police Academy. He was a State Trooper for 25 Years for Troop "M".

George was and avid Yankees fan.

He was the husband of Mary Lou (DeAngelo) Miller formerly of Mahanoy City.

George is preceded in death by Brother Edward Peter Miller, sisters Joan Naspinsky, and Margaret Cominsky. Also survived by one Niece and one Nephew.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City, PA, at 11 AM on Saturday, February 18th, with Monsignor Ronald Bocian and Rev. Dominick Mammarela officiating.

Friends may call Saturday 10 to 11 AM at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish.

Interment will take place in the Sacred Heart Cemetery Mahanoy City, PA.

Family prefers donations to the Marian Catholic High School.
