George Marowski, 80, of 69 High Road, Park Place, Mahanoy City, died
Saturday evening at Trinity Mission Health & Rehab of Shenandoah
Heights.
Born in Trenton, Delano Township, May 19, 1928, he was a son of the late John Marowski and Mary Sekula. He lived in Trenton and Park Place his entire life. He was a member of St. Casimir Church, Mahanoy City.
He was preceded in death by brother; Joseph Morowsky, in 2004, Michael Marowski, in 1992, John Marowski, in 1993, Edward Marowski, in 1997, and Thomas Marowski, in 1990; and sisters, Victoria Fetco, in 1994, Mary Marowski, in 1990, and Helen Marowski, in 2002. Surviving are a brother, Leon Morosky, Scotland, United Kingdom; a sister, Anna Marowski, Park Place, Mahanoy City; and nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at St. Casimir Church. Interment will be in St. Casimir Cemetery, Mahanoy City, where a white dove will be released at the grave side in George's memory. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home, Mahanoy City location
