Obituary
Mrs. Evelyn M. Miller, Mahanoy City, passed away Sunday, August 7th, 2011 at Schuylkill Medical Center South Jackson, Pottsville, PA. She was a resident of Shenandoah Manor Senior Living Community.
Mrs. Miller was born in St. Nicholas, on November 2, 1922, the daughter of the late Joseph and Maude (Lewis) Davidson.
She was a graduate from Mahanoy Township High School and was a member of St Nicholas Union Church and belonged to St. Nicholas Union Ladies Auxiliary.
Evelyn had worked at Martin Dress Factory in Frackville.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Miller who died in 1972, and by Brothers Norman, Donald, James, Robert, John, Joseph, William, and sisters Laura Sieck, Gladys Marcavage, and Ethel Hall, and a grandson Joseph Lazer.
She is survived by a daughter Joy Lazer of Mahanoy City and a son Joseph and his wife Bernadine Miller of Boston Run and a sister Janet "Betty" Garber of Mahanoy City.
She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Sky View Memorial Park.
