Evelyn Bevan, age 71 of Frackville died Tuesday evening at the Schuylkill Medical Center East Norwegian Street Pottsville. Evelyn was born in New Boston Mahanoy City a daughter of the late Joseph Adzentoivich and Mary Dapkus Adzentoivich.

She was a greduate of the Mahanoy Twp. HS class of 1958. She had worked for General Cigar, formerly of Mahanoy City and had worked for Mrs. T's Pirogi Shenandoah before she retired.

She had lived in Warminster PA for several years before moving to Frackville in 1984.

Evelyn is a member of the Annunciation BVM RC church in Frackville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Adzentovich.

She is survived by her husband Stanley and a son Stanley Jr. of Frackville, a brother Ernest Adzentovich Las Vegas NV, and sisters Frances Crosby Frackville, Mary Crosby Warminster PA, and Susan Opanel Las Vegas NV.

Nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends may call Sunday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until 9:30 at the Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home Mahanoy City. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 10:30 am at Annunciation Church Frackville followed by interment in SkyView Memorial Park Hometown where a White Dove will be released in her memory.
