Eugene F. Kabilko Sr., 76, of Tamaqua, PA, passed away Sunday, January 20th, at Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Gene was born in Mahanoy City, PA on July 29, 1942, a son of the late Mary (Lowatti) and Frank Kabilko.

He served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of the American Legion Post 173, Tamaqua.

Gene was retired from Silberline Manufacturing, Lansford, PA, where he worked for 36 years.

He is survived by a son, Eugene F. Kabilko Jr. and daughter-in-law Michelle, of Hometown; daughter, Dana (Kabilko) Roth of Allentown, PA; four grandchildren, Akeyla, Ryan, Kori, and Jonathan; and 15 nieces and nephews, all of whom loved him dearly.  We will miss spending time with him while watching Penn State Football, listening to his stories about the great outdoors, and growing-up in a family where 'family always came first.'

He is preceded in death by his brothers John and Michael.

Service will be private, at the convenience of the family.
