Miss Elmira Hillibush, 87, of Maple Hill passed away Wednesday, March 30th, 2011 at Reading Hospital, Reading, PA.
Miss Hillibush was born in Jacksons - Mahanoy City, PA on September 26, 1923, the daughter of the late Harrry and Della (Schappell) Hillibush.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church Mahanoy City.
She had worked at City Shirt Mahanoy City
Elmira had graduated from Mahanoy Township High School.
Surviving is a daughter Linda Toll of Wyomissing with whom she lived for the last 6 years and many nieces and nephews.
She was the last of her family of 12. Preceded in death by brothers Ronald, Harry, Warren, Kenneth, James, and sisters Shirley Gilbert, Dorothy Mercer, Joan Adams, Ruth Shala, Harriet Mitchell, and Alberta Houser.
A Religious Service will be held at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home Inc., Mahanoy City, PA, at 11 AM on Monday, April 4th, with Reverend Fred Crawford Officiating.
Friends may call Monday 9 - 11 AM at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home Inc. Mahanoy City.
Interment at German Protestant Cemetery Mahanoy City where a White Dove will be released in her memory.
