Mr. Edward George Forker, 80, of Mahanoy City, passed away Wednesday, August 29th, at home.
Mr. Forker was born in Trenton, NJ. on November 6, 1931, the son of the late Edward and Ruth (Dieruff) Forker.
He served in the U.S. Navy in the Korean War.
Ed was a self employed Roofer.
He was a member of the "Flying Aces" and "The Breed" Motor Cycle clubs and loved to listen to Johnny Cash.
He is survived by sons Todd, Edward Jr "JR", and Lucas all of Mahanoy City, Nathan, Shenandoah, Shaun Rodgers, NC, and Ricy Crossley, NJ. Daughters Linda Peiffer, NJ, Tracey Rickman, TN, Jody Forker Kelayres, Ginni Forker, Treskow, Shanna Harley, Kelayres, Jennifer Forker, Mahanoy City, Denise Forker, Shenandoah, and Ayla Forker Hazleton. A brother Richard Crouch Lansford, and a sister Faye Maestre Levitown, and care taker Sheena Becker Lansford. He is also survived by 36 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
Ed is preceded in death by sons Adam, Bruce and Edward, and a daughter Jessica Crossley.
