Earlamonde P. Bennett

Earlamonde Pearl (Sis) Bennett, 83 of Gilberton, PA passed away at the Shamokin Hospital on Friday April 10, 2026. She was the daughter of Edith (Fox) and Earl Darker.

Pearl was a devoted mom who always put her children and grandchildren first. She always made time for her family. She loved camping, fishing, and the beach. She also loved to cook and bake.

She was preceded in death by her husband James J Bennett in 1974, 2 sons, James Bennett in 2014 and Dennis Bennett in 2019. She most recently lost her daughter Theresa Kuropatsky in 2025. She also lost her granddaughter Vicki, a grandson Cody, and 2 great-granddaughters Hannah, and Abbygail before her passing.

Pearl is survived by her longtime companion Anthony Geiger, a son Michael Bennett and 5 daughters. Miriam Long, Bernice Bennett, Loretta Bennett, Colleen Gilgore and Toni Walter. She has 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson.

She has 2 surviving siblings Leroy Darker and Darlene Bates.

A Religious Service will be held at 11AM on Monday, April 20th at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. in Mahanoy City, PA with Pastor Jack Murray officiating.

She will be laid to rest at The Queen of the Universe Cemetery in Pottsville PA.
