Dorothy Ihnat, 92, of Mahanoy City, passed away peacefully, Thursday, July 28th, at Park House Nursing Home, Royersford. She had lived for many years at the home of her daughter Dorothea in Royersford.

Dorothy was born in Mahanoy City, PA on May 31, 1924, a daughter of the late Dora (Hroback) and Michael Petruska.

She was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church Mahanoy City.

She graduated from Mahanoy City High School.

Dorothy had worked for City Shirt in Mahanoy City.

She was wife of the late Emery, who passed away in 1996.

Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Dorothea Marie Ihnat, of Royersford.

She is preceded in death by an infant daughter Helen, Brothers Joseph, Emil, John, Michael, and Sisters Anna Nelson, and Mary (Pat) O'Neill.

Office of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Byzantine Church, Mahanoy City, at 10 am on Tuesday, August 2nd, with Father James Carroll officiating.

Friends may call Tuesday from 9 am at the Church.

Interment will follow in St. Mary's Byzantine Cemetery Mahanoy City.
