Dominick (Mickey) Taverna age 85, of McAdoo, died Monday evening at the Statesman Health and Rehab Center in Levittown PA. Dominick was born in Johnstown PA a son of the late Joseph and Jennie Taverna. He lived most of his life in Trenton NJ where he worked for the US Post Office as a sorter until he retired.

Dominick was a US Military Veteran of the Korean War. He liked the Casinos and to play the horses.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Diana Taverna on June 15, 2013.

He is survived by a son James Fell and his wife Tania of Mahanoy City, a daughter Carolyn Messina and her husband Angelo of McAdoo, and by a daughter Diana Mackercher and her husband Robert of West Palm Beach FL, and a sister Rose Risoldi of Hamilton NJ.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
