Obituary
Dominic J. D'Allessandro 84 of Raven Run, Lost Creek died Tuesday at the Schuylkill Medical Center South Pottsville. Dominic was born in Raven Run the son of the late Anthony and Grace Ranauro D'Allessandro and lived there all of his life.
He was a graduate of Mahanoy Township High School, served in the US Navy and had been a mill operator for John's Manville in NJ.
Dominic was a member of St. Joseph Church in Girardville, the VFW and he enjoyed gardening, wood crafting and cooking.
He was preceded in death by a son Michael, and brothers Joseph D'allessandro and Arthur Durante, and a sister Antoinette Bigos.
Surviving are his wife the former Mary Buchanan son John of NJ and daughter Kathy Connolly NJ, 3 grand children also nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to a viewing at St. Joseph Church in Girardville Friday from 9:15 am until the Funeral mass of christian Burial at 10 am. Interment will follow at 12:30 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville.
Family requests donations to the SPCA.
