Obituary
Daniel Sleva, Jr, 24, of Morea, passed away suddenly Friday, April 3rd, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton.
Daniel was born in Mahanoy City, PA on June 27, 1990, a son of Patricia (Flaherty) Sleva and Daniel Sleva Sr. Paternal Grandparents Jean and the late Dominic Sleva, and Maternal Grandparents Thomas and the late Mary Ann Flaherty. He was also very close to his late uncle John Flaherty
He was a member of St. Richards Church Barnesville.
Graduated from Mahanoy Area Class of 2008.
Daniel worked at Amazon in Hazle Twp. He also had worked in the past for Tech Transport, and Hometown Nursing Center and Rehab.
He was a "Gamer" and loved his XBox. Daniel loved going out with his friends. He was a member of A.C.T.I.O.N Youth Group when he was in High School and portrayed Jesus during Stations of the Cross his senior year.
Daniel is also survived by a sister, Allishia Sleva, of Philadelphia, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call Friday April 10th, from 6 to 9 PM and again on Saturday April 11th, from 9 AM at the funeral home in Mahanoy City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Richards Church Barnesville at 10:30 AM with Reverend Joseph Whalen officiating.
Family prefers donations to A.C.T.I.O.N Youth Group Mahanoy City, American Diabetes Association or St. Vincent DePaul St. Richards and can be received at the Funeral Home.
