Obituary

Czar Mikita, 25, of Bloomsburg, formerly of Mahanoy City, died unexpectedly Wednesday at home.

Born in Mahanoy City, July 6, 1984, he was a son of the late Keisar Mikita, who died Feb. 2, 1988.

He was a 2003 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School, where he was active in football and wrestling.

Czar was studying business management through the University of Phoenix. Surviving are his grandmother, Marie Mikita, Mahanoy City; an aunt, Cindy Smitrovich, Mahanoy City; two cousins, Sabrina Ziolko, Ashland, and Anna Smitrovich, Pittsburgh; his girlfriend, Brianna Casserly, Mahanoy City.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home Inc., Mahanoy City. Interment will be in German Protestant Cemetery, Mahanoy City, where a white dove will be released in his memory.
