Obituary
Charles Lawrence, 55, of Mahanoy City, passed away Thursday morning at his home.
Born in Shenandoah, Nov. 10, 1954, he was a son of the late Charles and Constance Hollenbach Lawrence.
He loved his dog, Jasper, was an avid reader and also loved local sports.
He was last employed by Silberline and had worked at Ashland State Hospital Nurse for many years.
He was of the Protestant faith.
Surviving are sisters, Debra Blashock, Mahanoy City, and Peggy Shaner, Breinigsville; brothers, Paul Lawrence, Denver, and David Lawrence, John Lawrence, Joseph Lawrence, Mark Lawrence and Matthew Lawrence, all of Mahanoy City.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Shenandoah, with the Rev. Janet Kine officiating. The family prefers donations be made to Mahanoy City Pub lic Library or the SPCA.
