Charles John ("Frank", "3") Biscoe died Saturday, January 6 at his home in Mahanoy City at the age of 52.

Charles was born on April 3, 1965 in Gilberton to Joseph and Edith (Thomas) Biscoe.

Charles served in the US Army National Guard, and was awarded a number medals and commendations during his service. He was a former employee of Rockwell International, Lift Incorporated, and Gilberton Borough. His last employment was as head grounds keeper at Blue Mountain Fishing Lakes. Charlie's biggest passion was rooting for all of his nieces and nephews. A lifelong Nascar fan, he once went as far as painting his Monte Carlo with a #3 to show what a big fan he was of Dale Earnhardt, Sr.

Charlie is survived by 6 sisters and 2 brothers: Marbeth "Betsy" Biscoe, Blue Mountain Lakes; Stephen and wife Michelle Biscoe, Mahanoy City; Mary Lou and husband Bill Hannon, Mahanoy Plane; Ida Biscoe, Mahanoy City; Joseph and wife Mary Biscoe, Barnesville; Ann Marie and husband Gary Schaeffer, New Tripoli; Helen and husband Terry Boyle, Scranton; Julie and husband Bill Fazio, Jr., Mahanoy City. Charles is also survived by an Aunt Bernice Yackera of Girardville, several great aunts and uncles, 24 nieces and nephews, 35 great nieces and nephews, and many cousins, and friends.

Charles was preceded in death by a sister, Lillian, in 1985; and by a niece, Ashley, in 2014.

A Religious Service will be held at the Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Mahanoy City, at 7 pm on Wednesday, January 10th, with Rev Jack Murray officiating.

Friends may call Wednesday 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home.

Family prefers donations be made in memory of Charles J. Biscoe to Gilberton United Methodist Church.
