Charles Thomas Delp, 83, of Tamaqua, passed away Saturday, December 26th, at the home of his daughter in Coopersburg.
Charles was born in Tamaqua, PA on November 24, 1932, a son of the late Helen (Sell) and Thomas Delp.
He was a member of Calvary Evangelical United Methodist Church Tamaqua, PA 18252.
Charles served in the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Navy Reserves.
He was the owner of CT Delp Exterminating Telford PA where he lived for 45 years. He also worked for a time as a police officer.
He loved photography, traveling and watching westerns on TV. Charles loved spending time with his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Charles had graduated from Tamaqua High School Class of 1951.
He was the husband of Ruth (Houser) Delp.
Charles is survived by four daughters, Cheryl, wife of Darle Cresswell, of Orwigsburg; Lynne, wife of Richard Snyder, of Bradenton Fl; Sandra, wife of Joe Naso, of Perkasie PA; and Lori, wife of Mark Koehler, of Coopersburg, 11 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by a brother Thomas Jr., and daughter Charlene Archer who passed away in November.
A Religious Service will be held at Calvary Evangelical United Methodist Church, Tamaqua, at 11AM on Thursday, December 31st, with Reverend Ed Bean officiating.
Friends and family may call Thursday 10 AM at the church.
Interment will follow in the church Cemetery.
