Catherine Moore, 95, of Mahanoy City, passed away April 20 at Broad Mountain Manor Nursing Home, Frackville.
Born in Mahanoy City, July 15, 1914, she was a daughter of the late John and Frances Urban Delinsky.
She was wife of the late Joseph Moore.
She was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City, and member of the former St. Joseph Church. She had lived for many years in New York City and she had worked and retired from Western Union.
Catherine loved to knit, travel and garden, but especially enjoyed to be with family.
She was preceded in death by brothers, John, William and Stanley; and sisters, Helen Humanick, Angela Demchick, Margaret Bukontis, Anna Zegley and Julia Remus.
Surviving are a sister, Della Gailushas, Mahanoy City.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City. Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home Inc., Mahanoy City. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Mahanoy City, where a white dove will be released in her memory.
