Candice Jean Filion, 62, of Tamaqua, PA, passed away Wednesday, May 15th, at her residence.

Candice was born in Coaldale, PA on May 3, 1957, a daughter of the late Jeanne (Moser) and John Perla.

She attended Tamaqua High School.

Candice is survived by two daughters, Heather, wife of  John Maellaro, of Quakake; Crystal Fegley and her Fiance' Timothy Postupack, of Tamaqua, and by three sisters, Lori, wife of  Craig Miller, of Barnesville; Sheila Davidson-Bray, wife of  Jacques Bray, of Tamaqua; five brothers, Jerald Perla, of Tamaqua; Eugene "Midgy" Perla, husband of Margaret Perla, of Tamaqua, Walter Perla, of Tamaqua; Jan Perla, of Tamaqua; Todd Perla, of Tamaqua; and 3 Grandchildren James, Joelle, Bella.

She is preceded in death by brothers, John, Kevin, and sisters Mary Ann Mangone, Sandra, and Martha.

A Religious Service will be held at Trinity United Church of Christ, Tamaqua, at 5PM on Wednesday, May 29th, with Rev. Darryl Kinsinger officiating.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
