Obituary
Bertha Pikunas, 100, of Mahanoy City, passed away Wednesday, November 27th, at her residence.
Bertha was born in Mahanoy City, PA on September 23, 1913, a daughter of the late Anna (Matalavage) and George Stankienas.
She was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish Mahanoy City.
She worked for City Shirt in Mahanoy City, and loved to go on Casino bus trips with the Mahanoy City Golden Age.
She was the wife of the late John Pikunas.
Bertha is survived by two daughters, Patricia Hartman, of Barnesville, and Ann Carol Schoener, of Mahanoy City.
She is also survived by Survived by 1 Grandchild and 3 Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her son John, Brothers John, and William and a sister Anna Lynn.
Services will be at the convenience of the family
