Obituary
Mrs. Antoinette Dainauski, 82, of Mahanoy City, passed away Sunday at St. Luke Pavilion, Hazleton.
Mrs. Dainauski was born in Mahanoy City on March 20, 1927, the daughter of the late Michael and Veronica Orzech Gresh.
She was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Roman Catholic Church, Mahanoy City, and the former St. Casimir Church.
She belonged to the Mahanoy City Golden Age and the Holy Rosary Society, and enjoyed playing card games and crocheting. She attended local schools.
She last worked at Shandri's Newspaper shop, Mahanoy City.
She was the widow of Adam Dainauski.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol Houser, Hazleton, and Jane Wufsus Reese, Hazleton; two sons, Michael Dainauski, Plano, Texas, and Robert Dainauski, Allentown; a sister, Jenny Wroblewski, Mahanoy City; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph, Edward, John and Stanley; and sisters, Helen Szott, Mary Novack, Stella Trackim and Frances Stephan.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home Inc., Mahanoy City. Interment will be in St. Casimir Cemetery, Mahanoy City.
