Obituary
Mr. Anthony Gromalski, 65, of Barnesville passed away Friday, August 10th, 2012 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Tony was born in Mahanoy City, PA on February 26, 1947, the son of Josephine "Feenie" (Mattes) Gromalski of Mahanoy City and the late Anthony Gromalski.
He was a member of St. Richards Church Barnesville.
He had worked for Kaminiski Construction, and United Contracting.
Tony loved to play guitar, golf, go fishing but most of all, loved spending time with his family.
He had graduated from Mahanoy Area High School Class of 1964 and attended 4 years at Drexel University.
He was the husband of Lenore (Boyle) Gromalski.
Tony is survived by sons Anthony Gromalski, husband of Katherine, of Mahanoy City, and Bruce Pascavage of Mahanoy City. Also by sisters Karen Fetter, wife of Donald, of Barnesville, Krista Gromalski and partner Sandy Long, of Greeley, and by 3 grand children; Rachael Tempest, Dimitri Pascavage, and Sophia Gromalski, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by a sister Joanne Leitzel in 1999, and his father Anthony in 2002.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at St. Richards Church, Barnesville, at 11 AM on Thursday, August 16th, with Father Joseph T. Whalen officiating.
Friends may call Thursday 9:30 AM until the time of mass at St. Richards Church Barnesville.
Graveside Services will follow at St. Canicus Cemetery, Mahanoy City.
Family prefers donations be made to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the church.
