Mrs. Anna Pappas, 99, of Mahanoy City passed away Thursday, May 10th, 2012 at Schuylkill Medical Center East Norwegian, Pottsville, PA.
Mrs. Pappas was born in Delano, PA on November 6, 1912, the daughter of the late Wassil and Kathryn (Chrusch) Corinchock.
She had lived in Delano, Hometown and Mahanoy City and the last several years in Shenandoah Senior Living Community.
She was a member of St Mary Byzantine Catholic Church and the former St. Nicholas Church Mahanoy City Mahanoy City, PA.
She had worked at Ideal Shirt & Janowitch Dress Factory Mahanoy City.,
Attended local Schools
She was the wife of the late William Pappas who passed away in 1982.
She was the last remaining member of her immediate family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at St Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Mahanoy City, PA, at 11 AM on Saturday, May 12th, with Father James Carroll officiating.
Friends may call Saturday 10:30 - 11 AM at St Mary Byzantine Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Skyview Memorial Park Tamaqua, PA.
