Obituary

Mrs. Anna Nepywoda, 92, of Naperville IL. passed away Wednesday, August 31st, 2011 at Tabor Hills Senior Living Campus in Naperville IL.

Mrs. Nepywoda was born in Mahanoy city, PA on November 26, 1918, the daughter of the late Steve and Mary (Hnasko) Koval.

She was a 20 year member of the Boy Scouts of America, had belonged to the Catholic Daughters in Mahanoy City, the Apostleship of Prayer at the former St Nicholas Church in Mahanoy City, the Ladies Guild in Orlando Fl, and was a volunteer at the Orlando Regional Hospital for over 15 years.

Anna had Graduated from Mahanoy City High School in 1936

She preceded in death by her husband Michael Nepywoda in 1984.

Survived by daughters Juliann Testen of Macungie, Rosemarie Randa and her husband Ambrose, of New Britain PA, and sons John Nepywoda and his wife Rita of Naperville Il., and Michael Nepywoda and his wife Peggy of Florida, and a brother Edward Koval of Wenham MA.

She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death in addition to her husband by brothers Steven and George Koval, and a sister Theresa Picone.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Mahanoy City, PA, at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 3rd, with Father James Carroll officiating.

Friends may call Saturday 8:30 AM at St Marys Byzantine Church Mahanoy City.

Interment will be in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Cemetery Mahanoy City, where a White Dove will be released in her memory.
