Anna Morowski, 100, of Mahanoy City, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 31st, at Jewel Health and Rehab in Allentown. Born on October 26, 1924, in Mahanoy City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Sekula) and John Marowski.

Anna attended local schools and dedicated 43 years of her life working at the Mahanoy City Shirt Factory. A member of Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish in Mahanoy City, she was deeply rooted in her faith.

Anna was the last surviving member of her immediate family, preceded in death by her brothers George, Joseph, Thomas, Michael, John, Edward, and Leon, and sisters Mary, Victoria Fetco, and Helen. She leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in her honor at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish, Mahanoy City, PA, at 11 AM on Saturday, January 4th, with Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher officiating. Friends and family are invited to call from 10 AM at the parish. Interment will follow at St. Casimir Cemetery in Mahanoy City.
