Anna Mack, 87, of 423 W. Arlington St., Shenandoah, passed away Monday
morning at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab of Shenandoah Heights.
Born in Maizeville, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Ella Kudla Semanchick.
She lived Buck mountain and Shenandoah and attended local schools.
She belonged to St. Casimir Roman Catholic Church, Shenandoah, and had been a volunteer at Shenandoah Manor Nursing Center.
She
was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Mack, on June 24, 2008; a son, Harry Butchko; a brother, Michael Semanchick; and a sister,
Mary Soucheck.
Surviving are a son, Albert Mack, at home; two daughters, Julie Butchko, Mahanoy City, and Theresa Burock, Center
Valley; two brothers, George Semanchick, Saint Clair, and John
Semanchick, Bayville, N.J.; three sisters, Helen Watunya, St. Clair,
Julie Gera, Frackville, and Eva Alshon, Frackville; and five
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral
will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday from Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home
Inc., 318 E. Centre St., Shenandoah. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until
the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in
St. Casimir Cemetery, Shenandoah, where a white dove will be released
at the grave side in her memory.
