Obituary
Andrew Paluka, 78, of New Boston, passed away Monday, March 16th, peacefully, at his residence.
Andrew was born in New Boston, PA on March 19, 1936, a son of the late Anna (Maley) and Andrew Paluka.
He was a member of St Mary's Byzantine Mahanoy City.
He served in the U.S. Navy in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 74 and the VFW of Mahanoy City.
Andrew is also survived by a sister, Anna Paluka, of Woodside NY, and also by long time friend Barbara O'Boyle Shenandoah. He is preceded in death by brothers Nicholas, Michael, and John.
Office of Christian Burial at Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Mahanoy City, PA, at 11 AM on Saturday, March 21st, with Father Jim Carroll officiating.
Friends may call Saturday March 21st from 9:30 AM. Until the service at the Funeral in Mahanoy City.
Interment will follow in St. Mary's Byzantine Cemetery Mahanoy City, PA.
