Obituary

Adele Humanick, 93, of Barnesville, PA, passed away Monday, February 2nd, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest.

Adele was born on January 5, 1922, a daughter of the late Marcella (Novak) and John Zelonis.

She was a member of St Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church Mahanoy City, .

She was very active with the former St. Nicholas Ukrainian Church and loved to make pierogies.

She was the wife of the late Peter Humanick.

Adele is survived by two sons Peter Humanick, of Barnesville; Steve Humanick, of Bruceton Mills WV and by three sisters, Helen Pucklavage, of Tamaqua; Stella Pollack, of Mary D; Blanche Petko, of Norristown, and a brother, John Zelonis, of Brockton;

She is also survived by grandchildren Jessica, Justin, Jacob, Joshua, and Tyler, nieces and nephews.

Adele is preceded in death by brothers Adolph, Stan, and Pete.

Office of Christian Burial with Divine Liturgy at St Mary's Byzantine Church, Mahanoy City, at 11 AM on Thursday, February 5th, with Father Jim Carroll officiating.

Friends may call Wednesday 6 - 8 PM and Thursday 10 AM. at St Mary's Byzantine Church. Parastas will be Wednesday evening at 7pm.

Interment at will be in St Nicholas Ukrainian Mahanoy City, PA.
