Obituary
Adam Michael Donella, 28, of 135 W. Pine St., Mahanoy City, died Saturday morning at home.
Born in Mahanoy City, March 26, 1980, he was a son of the late William J. Donella Sr. and Cheryl Quin
Donella Adams.
He lived in Mahanoy City all of his life and was a 1998 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School.
He was a police officer for Mahanoy City and Ryan Township and, more recently, was an auto mechanic at Sears department store, Frackville.
Surviving are his wife, the former Elsie Blair; sons, Christopher Michael and Ryan Christopher, both of Barnesville; brothers, William J.Donella Jr., Mahanoy City, and Daniel Donella, Williamsport; sisters, Kristine Marie Adams, McAdoo, Holly Noel Adams, Summit Hill, and Free Ann Donella, Williamsport; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday from Louis D. Truskowsky Funeral Home Inc., Mahanoy City. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Weatherly, where a white dove will be released at the grave site in his memory. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The family prefers donations be made to Adam Donella Memorial Fund.
