Obituary
Alfred Daniel " Pop " Seddon of Pottsville, formerly of Mahanoy City died Friday morning at the Schuylkill Center Pottsville.
Mr. Seddon was born in Mahanoy City the son of the late Alfred and Maude, Burkey, Seddon and attended local schools. He served in the US Army and had worked for Bethlehem Steel until his retirement.
Daniel was preceded in death by his wife Rita Edwards Seddon in 1968 , by a brother Thomas , and by a sister Katherine Seddon.
He is survived by a son Daniel of Coaldale, a former daughter-in-law Lori Seddon of Pottsville and by a sister Elizabeth Cope of Allentown. He has seven grand children, 2 great-grand children and nieces and nephews.
Daniel was a member of the First Congregation Church of Mahanoy City.
Friends may call at Truskowsky Funeral Home Mahanoy City Wednesday morning from 10 am until religious service at 11 am .
Donations to the First Congregation Church of Mahanoy City are preferred.
Interment will be in the German Protestant Cemetery Mahanoy City where a White Dove will be released in his memory.
